The History of Habbox Events

Since Habbox's opening in 2004, Habbox Events has been an integral part of it's functioning; from advertising to new members, or keeping it's current users occupied. Here is a brief look back at some of Habbox Events' best moments!

The Introduction of Weekly Events - February 2011

February 2011 saw the introduction of Weekly Events. In brief, these are a select few events which can be relied on to be hosted - by the same Events Organiser in the same room, at the same time and on the same day each week.

Habbox Events Banzai Bash - April 2010

This was a Battle Banzai tournament held over the first two weeks of April 2011. Through a series of heats, players could compete for the top three prestigious positions of bronze, silver and gold. 25 players battled it out through 8 games to leave us with the winners: gangsteragent, orientalframe? and MissAnnieKean. 
 

"Once Upon a Time..." Easter Quest - April 2011


"It was Good Friday and Little Red Riding Sam was wandering through the Habbox Hills, minding her own business, collecting lettuce leaves to feed to her bunnys back home. Little did she know that her fortunes would take a turn for the worst.

The Easter Quest saw 77 correct entries over the two week period! Each participant received 5 points towards the Easter Extravaganza Tournament. Our three randomly selected winners were: .Cymru., Codynus and Splendipz.

 
Habbox Events "Fairytale Fantasy Quest" - July to August 2011

The Fairytale Fantasy Quest saw 112 correct entries over the two week period. The winning keyword was "enchanted" and our three randomly selected winners were: Fudge, Boobulars and Splendipz. They each won 100c, 50c and 25c respectively. 

[B2S] Back 2 School Tournament - September 2011

This tournament was held from the 12th - 18th September 2011. The Competitions Department held several themed competitions, and Events also ran a quest. All events during this period were themed as subjects, whilst points were given out to the winners of all activities. The quest saw 38 correct entries over the 7 day period. The winners were Wikiii, Charlotte and orientalframe? - more information regarding winners can be found here.
