BullyBusters is a scheme that was started on Habbo to help discourage Bullying on the internet, and to help inform people on habbo about the effects and problems of cyberbullying.

Which hotels are involved with BullyBusters?                                

 The scheme originally involved:

- Habbo.co.uk
- Habbo.com
- Habbo.ca

However, overtime, the scheme has died down on Habbo.com and Habbo.ca, and the UK hotel is mainly involved with the scheme. BarbaraAnne (Online Safety Education Officer) originally came up with the concept of creating a group which would inform people about the issues of Cyber Bullying, and overtime, redtiz (Current Sulake Safety and Education Officer) became a major influence within the program.

BullyBusters on the UK Hotel

- BullyBusters was started on the 8th of August 2007. So far the program on Habbo UK has incited the intrest of over 8,000 users, who have signed up to the scheme and the group, which can be found here.

- It is owned by the Habbo: BullyBusters, however, it is run by the two Habbos: Dragon-nccb and bigbutsound, both former Habbo eXperts.

Habbo eXperts 

The BullyBusters program was first hosted by the Habbo eXperts, who were a group of experienced Habbos, who volunteered to help share their knowledge of Habbo and Technical issues to other Habbos. The Habbo X's raninfobus programs to help inform Habbos regarding the issues of Cyberbullying. However, when the Habbo eXpert scheme was dissolved in the Summer of 2008 and replaced with Habbo Guides, with a couple exceptions (Dragon-nccb and bigbutsound), the Habbo eXperts stoped helping with the BullyBusters program. 

BullyBuster Seminars

BullyBuster seminars were often held by the Habbo eXperts, and the habbo BullyBusters. In these Seminars, Habbos would go to a room owned by the account BullyBusters. In this room, The Habbo eXperts often would often talk about certain issues, and then invite the Habbos that attend the seminar to ask questions, and afterwards there would be an event where Habbos could win prizes and trophies. After every Habbo attended a seminar, they would receive a special trophy from BullyBusters:

However, when the X program was scrapped, the BullyBuster Seminars ceased to exist, as there was no-one left to organise them.

Infobus Sessions

There have often been BullyBuster related Infobus sessions, run by bigbutsound and Dragon-nccb. When the X Program was in existence, Dragon-nccb and bigbutsound hosted sessions as eXperts. Nowadays, the main way that the BullyBusters scheme functions is through Infobus Sessions, which are held on Wednesdays at 3 PM, and Fridays at 4 PM.

Discussion Forum 

The Discussion Forum which can be found here, has many guides and videos to do with cyberbullying, and they also keep habbos up to date with any BullyBuster events which are occurring. There are also competitions which occur via the Discussion Forum for example, the BullyBuster poetry competition.
