Let's put it simple - Habbo would be pretty boring if it didn't have its own collection of tips and tricks! Take a look below at the Tips and Tricks we've decided to show you. We've also included the Alt Codes to get small images in the hotel and how to make furniture fly! Taking a screenshot To start with, find what you want to screen shot. Be it habbo, internet explorer or even a cool scene in a video clip. Hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard, it's labelled PrtSc and will be close to the F12 button. Next you'll have to open up an image editing program, most people use Microsoft Paint. When you're ready just paste your screenshot into the image editor and you can change it to suit your needs, whether it be cropping it, adding some text and changing the colours!
Chooser This little gadget is a Habbo Club only feature, it allows you to see who is in a room with the typing of a phrase; :chooser! Whether you be looking for someone to trade or wanting to kick someone in a game of kick wars - this is the place to look! Just type the phrase into the speech box and press enter.

Furniture Command Another little Habbo Club only feature is that of the Furniture Command. This tool lets you see every piece of furniture in your room - especially useful if you're worried you'll pick the wrong thing up! This also lists stickie notes which is a benefit for some, a downfall for others, especially in quests where you must find the hidden stickie note! To access this tool enter the phrase :furni in the speech box and press enter!

Changing your badge For those of you that have gained more than one badge this tool is for you! This is available to any Habbo and lets you scroll through your badges until you find the one you want to display. Just use the arrows to change badge and when you find one you want to use press ok. You can also hide your chosen badge when you're wearing it just by clicking it, it can be displayed by clicking it.

Who's in here If you're keeping your eye on someone who might be in a public room, or you're just being nosey and seeing who's in a room you can see the whole list of occupants! Just hold down the shift key and click on the room's name, a box will pop up with a list of names in. This only works on Public Rooms.

Moving Furni
Instead of having to click every item of furniture, then click pick up to remove something from your room, there's a little secret lying around. All you have to do is hold down the alt key whilst you click on the furniture and it will enter 'move mode'. You can move it to somewhere else in the room, into your hand and even into a trade box if you're trading someone! You can also move furniture in rooms you have rights to with the same method.
Abbreviations Some people might feel like being lazy and therefore don't type the entire word they mean, or shorten a phrase such as 'Laugh Out Loud' to just 'lol', which makes it easier for them and easier for you, providing you know what it means. If you don't know what things mean, you can find out below! Phrase | Abbreviation | | Phrase | Abbreviation | Away from keyboard | AFK | Not Much | NM | Be back later | BBL | No problem | NP | Be right back | BRB | No Thankyou | NTY | By the way | BTW | Oh my god | OMG | Bet the dealer | BTD | Pee myself laughing | PMSL | In my opinion | IMO | Please | PLS | For the win | FTW | Roll on floor laughing | ROFL | Game | G | Talk to you later | TTYL | Good game | GG | Thankyou | TY | Good Luck | GL | To be honest | TBH | Got to go | G2G | Too much information | TMI | Laugh my ass off | LMAO | | Your Welcome | YW |
Alt Codes Many people in Habbo try to enhance their room names to make them stand out, or just want to make their writing fancy with lots of small images in, these small images are 'alt codes'. Why? That would be because you have to use the alt key to produce them, as well a short number code. To use an alt code on a Desktop PC you should simply hold down the alt key (usually near the space bar) and enter the relevant code shown below on the num pad, before doing this ensure num lock is on. If you are using a laptop the process is a bit different. On most common laptops you should press the Fn key (usually near the space bar) and the num lock key (usually F11). After doing this num lock has been enabled and you can then hold alt whilst you type in the code using the 'number pad' which is normally to the right around certain letters, such as J = 1, O = 6.
