Productions History

Cinderella started the Habbox Productions department...
...but she didn’t quite know it at the time! Habbox Shows was a whole department at Habbox in 2006. The department was lead by Hecktix, who took it from strength to strength. The department decided it was time for some drama, comedy and fun!

The Show team put on a pantomime, a pantomime with the cast made up of Habbox Staff. And the title of this pantomime was ‘Cinderella’. The pantomime saw Habbox Big-wigs 8freak8 (General Manager at the time) and Smiddy1234 (Assistant General Manager at the time) as the ugly step sisters. Other Habbox Staff joined to fill the rest of the cast too.

The show was held in front of many habbo’s on Habbo Hotel UK. Thank goodness, it was a massive success! After the incredibly popularity of the pantomime the idea was born. Hecktix and 8freak8 set about converting the shows department into what it is now...

The Productions Department

Unfortunately, during the process of going from Shows to Productions, Hecktix departed as manager. Applications were opened and the search was on to find a new Manager. Applications were sent to 8freak8 left, right and centre; however there could only be one manager! After trawling through the applications, 8freak8 decided there would be a manager and assistant manager, Misawa and Sammeth. respectively.

The first task was to fill the productions team with hard working staff, which was done so immediately. The next task was to create the next big hit production! Romeo and Juliet was the first choice to propel Productions onto the Habbox Scene. The script was written and edited, and the performers rehearsed and rehearsed until it was ready for the big day. The production was thoroughly enjoyed by residents of the UK hotel and work immediately began on the next production; Jack and the Beanstalk!

Before the production was completed and performed, Misawa also departed. Sammeth. was manager, and joined after by Mrs.McCall who took on the role of Assistant Manager. Everyone continued hard work. This was until, of course, the department had a major set back. The demand for long plays and productions to be produced was declining. And so the decision was made for the department to change once again. Habbox Productions was to start doing talk shows, where Habbo’s would come join the staff in a topical talk show format, with discussions, debates and quizzes and competitions!

It was a fun format, and meant talk shows could be produced quickly and more often. The format has stuck with the department ever since. In December 2007 Sammeth. left the department as manager to make way for PriceTags, Glen-Powers and Test:Tube:Baby. After Test:Tube:Baby's departure Mrs.McCall, former Productions Assistant Manager, returned as Manager to bring the department back to its former glory with Dudedanny123 as Assistant Manager

All had reigns at the helm of the department. But where are we now?

Currently the Productions department is churning out more shows for you to enjoy on Habbo Hotel. The department is currently run and managed by Sammeth. who returned to bring the department back to its former glory.

Meet the Manager!

Name: Sammeth.

Age: 17

Joined Habbox: Well, I joined HabboxForum in January 2005, so its nearly four years ago. Ouch. But I did use Habbox.com a bit before I discovered the beauties of the forum.

Job History: I joined Habbox as staff in late 2005 as HabboxTV staff. I didn't join in a particularly dignified way, more like kicking and screaming till they would have me! I then got *coughfiredcough* from that, and didn't rejoin till 2006. I maintained the job through 2006, and also picked up a few other jobs along the way (such as Articles staff). In late 2006 that 8freak8 (who was General Manager at the time) decided to open up a brand new department called Productions, however the manager who was to run it decided to make a swift exit. 8freak8 opened up applications to all who were current staff, originally looking for one manager to take the helm. I applied, and 8freak8 said the quality of the applications were so good he was going to hire a Manager and an Assistant. I was lucky enough to be the assistant to Misawa from January 2007 (when the department opened) till March 2007, when I was then promoted to manager after his departure. It wasn't until I was forced to resign (by events in my life rather than management ) in December 2007 that I was no longer Habbox Staff. I was back on track when July 2008 had come round, and I had rejoined the Productions Department. Within a few weeks I was back in the top spot of Productions Manager, and I was settled back in to the department I had helped manage from Day 1 </essay>

Hobbies: I enjoy everything and anything. Spending time with friends, my boyfriend, shopping, movies and Habbox obviously.

Likes and Dislikes: I like everything really. It would be easier to tell you what I dislike which are:

• Children who are spoiled

• Mushrooms

• Nuts (surprisingly)

• Fireworks (when they are too close)

• Football

• Sport in general actually

• Spending money to see a film, and it turns out its really bad. That always get on my nerves.
