 In the words of Bruce Forsyth "Nice to see you, to see you - Nice"! Unfortunately, Habbo do not have Bruce or any other classic gameshow hosts, but they do have a whole lot of great gameshows coming up for you to enjoy!
Habbo will be hosting a Gameshow Marathon starting tomorrow and finishing no later than the 21st January! The next two weeks are full to the brim with Habbo versions of all your favourite gameshows, both past and present! These special games will be giving out badges and rares as prizes, so now there's definitely no reason to miss it. To take part in these events you must choose one of four teams, each led by Habbo Staff, to join and battle it out against the others. Teams include 'The MacDaddy Dons' and 'PS Bunny Demons' with each team having no more than two staff representing it. Games coming your way include, 'Wheel of Fortune', 'The Krypton Factor' and even 'Play Your Cards Right'! For a full list of teams, games and for an up-to-date leader board, just click here! If you have ever wanted to see a Habbo Staff member do something embarrassing then you're in luck as the bottom teams Staff Representative(s) must do a forfeit that is decided by you! Imagine if Lost_Witness is made to do the pogo-mogo in the Habbo Offices or if Bucho6 is made to sing to all of the Office!  Bright green exclusive Childline Idea Agency teleporters have suddenly started to appear across the UK hotel! A pair of teleports has been delivered to randomly selected Habbo's who completed a poll late last year.
The official page for the Idea Agency has posted that "Special Idea Agency Teleports were given out to randomly selected poll entrants today as some good New Year will! So if you received them, get them down in your rooms and get linking!" Meanwhile, our forum has been filled with reports on how much they have sold their sets for. Prices from as high as a throne, down to just one club sofa has been reported. As always, the Habbox Rare Values Team will endeavour to get you a value as soon as possible - so sit tight! The Idea Agency, Childline's agency for getting the word out on their freephone support service for children, currently has one brief - the "Golden Brief". More briefs are expected later this year, along with more rumoured items of furniture such as rugs and lamps.

Whilst Habbo Staff were all busy partying into the night, singing whilst drinking and doing the Pogo-Mogo, a mysterious and mystical Artifact was delivered to Habbo. This strange and fascinating item was found only in a box containing a short note reading "beware of the artifact's fire for it holds great secrets".
What does this mean then, you may find yourself asking. Well, Habbo's Artifacts Experts are trying to crack the case with no luck so far. To help them discover more about it, Habbo have released the item into the catalogue as the January Collectible! The piece of furniture, known only as "Unknown Artifact", can be yours today for only 25 Credits.
If you want to purchase this then please note that this month, you will have to buy it from the "Collectibles" section of the Habbo Catalogue rather than the usual way of the Collectibles Page on the Habbo website. The ability to purchase it normally should hopefully soon return. Keep checking Habbox for the latest news on this mysterious creature!

 Hotel for Dogs is a brand new film to hit cinemas across the United Kingdom in January 2009, and Habbo have open their doors and let a few of the puppies check into the hotel! Hotel For Dogs is a smart, funny comedy adventure that shows how far love and imagination can take you.
The story revolves around 16 year old Andi and younger brother, Bruce. They find themselves in a foster home with a strict 'no pets' policy, and Andi has to use quick wit to help find a new home for their dog, Friday. An exciting new quest is lined up as part of the movie promotion, as well as six new badges - three "bone-tiered" badges are rumoured, as well as two generic dog badges, and a silhouette dog badge. If that wasn't enough, the Hotel for Dogs official group page has announced that there will be several free stickers for your Habbo Home. Get ready to open up a tab, fill the mini-bar with water, and order a crate of bones... the dogs are coming to Habbo!

 If you've been logging into Habbo for the past 26 days, and have collected every single penguin, then you're in for a treat! It seems the guys and girls down at Habbo HQ have given us a chance to get a final penguin... rumored to be in the form of a trophy!
All you have to do is simply login to Habbo on December 31st (New Years Eve), and you will receive your Penguin Suprise gift! If you haven't managed to collect all 26 Penguins, then unfortunately, you cannot grab your Habbo hands on this amazing gift!
