Super Mario 64: Our favourite playground turns twenty3
By - Posted 29th June, 2016

06/23/1996, Japan, Super Mario 64 20th Anniversary

Have you played a game that even though it has passed so many years after its release, it remains good and impressive instead of being outdated or boring? This is exactly how we can classify Super Mario 64. Unveiling to the world an innovative way to control our beloved Italian with the analog control, the courage to launch a polygonal 3D game in a cartridge, and a gameplay that is an inspiration source even nowadays. I’m sure we all feel the same in thinking It’s still fun to get a red cap with wings and fly through the huge playground that we usually call stages without a destination!

The funny thing is that I believe we probably haven’t seen everything that SM64 offers...

What a Bobba?! – Western Games to show why humans ought to be (seriously) studied1
By - Posted 12th May, 2016

Ohaio. We are not in the industry of the games so it may be kinda hard to imagine what the great team of the Western world games should imagine before creating a masterpiece, eh?. And, you know… it is even harder to imagine what happens inside their mind when they launch a weird game in the expectation of seeing it becoming the game of the year. If you want to laugh a little, come with us. We’re going to show you 2 WESTERN GAMES THAT SHOW WHY HUMANS OUGHT TO BE (SERIOUSLY) STUDIED!

Space Invaders joins gaming hall of fame!2
By - Posted 8th May, 2016

It’s been well over 40 years since Space Invaders was introduced to the public, and just now it’s been announced that the little bouncing space ship shooting the aliens has finally made it to the gaming hall of fame! I don’t know about you, but I used to spend hours playing this game, seeing how far I could get and how many of the little alien things I could actually kill. The game gave myself and others hours of entertainment!

Hey! Fortunately, the video game industry is not only composed of glorious moments. We are human after all, and it’s the mistakes and the necessary boldness that make us stronger and more experienced! In this article we will show you 4 of the strangest games/consoles ever heard that, for good or evil, caused much strangeness or delight even to the less demanding players!

Give life back to ZX0
By - Posted 19th March, 2016

Hey, my beautiful Earth people! First of all, I’m lucpix (OK, it’s only my war codename, I’m actually Lucas) and I’m glad to start off this crazy writing journey talking a little about the possibly unknown sides of the gaming world, since the beginning of all! Sit back and enjoy the ride, my friend:

I bet that you’re going to agree with me: It’s always COOL when they make remakes of the old games, even if they don’t make it properly, huh? Well. Fortunately, there’s these insistent and lovely fans that make them by themselves and sometimes they can get even better than the original game (We are fans and we know what we want to play, after all!).

Today, I’ll proudly raise a flag for RetroSpec! It’s an old and indie game company that put together a lot of great programmers and artists to innovate and recreate some of the few known Sinclair’s ZX Spectrum goodies from the 80’s. Do you know the best part of it?!: they are truly a must-play! And the best part: They are slow-PC-friendly! And the best part!! […]
