In case you’re wondering what Sports Relief is all about, this big charity event happens ever two years, and brings together the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world’s poorest countries. The television show kicks off tonight at 7pm on BBC1 and aims to bring you lots of entertainment, whilst raising money for very important causes. In 2014 Sports Relief raised a massive £51,242,186, the biggest total to date.
Habbox is getting involved and we are offering you the chance to help raise money for Sports Relief too! We now have charity VIP on sale on our forum, with all proceeds going to Sports Relief! In addition to a special chasing red username, you’ll get a special user bar and forum award too. The cost is £1 for every 2 weeks you buy, and the VIP will be on sale until Monday 21st March at 11.59pm
Valentines Day AKA the day of love is now over, making way for the next big event on our calendar- Easter! Spring really is in the air, the days are getting longer, the flowers are starting to appear and the weather is definitely starting to get a bit warmer! Last weekend, the new Habbox Help Desk design for spring and Easter was released and has gone down a storm so far. A new layout is selected from a list of submitted room designs by the community on our forum, and this month the competition was extremely strong with some beautiful designs being submitted.
The eventual winner this time around (after a tie-breaker vote!) was Mrs_Plant who submitted a beautiful outdoors style room featuring lots of foliage and water! Congratulations Coral! If you want to relax in the peaceful sea of tranquillity that the waterfalls provide then this room is definitely for you. It’s not all about relaxing though. Remember, if you need help with anything Habbo or Habbox related, we have a team of dedicated staff situated in the help desk ready to answer any questions you may have.
Click here to head on down to the room and check it out for yourself. Let us know what you think about the new design in the comments below!
Have you ever thought about working for a Habbo Fansite, getting to make new friends and becoming more involved in the Habbo community? Several departments at Habbox currently have applications open and would love some new staff members! Whether you enjoy hosting events, making graphics or writing articles, there will be something to suit your interests for sure.
If you’re a beginner that’s no problem! Our managers are experienced and will help you every step of the way. Click on the links below to find out more information about each department’s application process and how you can become staff! For most departments you will need to register on our forum to send in your application.
Okay, so I know you can view staff and departments on several pages of the Habbox site, Forum, and Wiki, but even though you can, some people may not know about the departments and where to find them. This article may help these people choose the Habbox job they want!
Here’s a quick summary of what was discussed in tonight’s General Management Takeover for all of those people who couldn’t attend, or those who did but need a reminder of what was discussed.
Although I’m sure there were more than nine questions asked altogether, I’ve compiled a list of the ones that discussed the most serious issues and were answered in the most depth.
Also, remember that there will be more General Management Takeovers in the future, and it’s never too early to start getting your questions together. If you missed this one, keep your eyes peeled on the main site (Habbox.com) and on HabboxForum’s Community Notice Board for the next one.
