Meet Our Content Managers!4
By - Posted 23rd March, 2016

As Content Assistant General Manager, I may be a bit biased when I say that my Content managers are the best. I currently have two new managers out of the four (including Rare Values manager which is myself), so I have decided it would be fun and informative if I asked them a couple of questions in order to make this Q&A article.

[Guest Article] Exclusive Interview with Ditch the Label!4
By - Posted 18th February, 2016

Ever wanted to know exactly what Ditch the Label is all about? Maybe you’ve heard the name floating around Habbo and want to know more about what they do? Habbox staff member FUNISMYME has kindly provided us with this exclusive interview with Ditch the Label staff member Sue.

When and why was Ditch the Label started?

“Our CEO, Liam Hackett set up Ditch the Label in 2012 after his own personal experience of a decade of bullying left him feeling alienated by existing provision which he found to be disempowering and ineffective. We are now one of the largest anti-bullying charities in the UK providing innovative support to over 180,000 young people each year, mainly on digital platforms.”

What is it that Ditch the Label does?

“We provide advice, support and interventions to young people affected by bullying. This extends to those who have been bullied and those who are bullying others. We also provide advice to parents/guardians and advice, plus support and training to teachers and other professionals and organisations involved in the safeguarding of young people. We further produce leading global research which better helps us understand bullying and its associated behaviours.”

General Management Changes… Any Questions?!6
By - Posted 28th July, 2015

I know what you’re all thinking; “God, not another interview?! Doesn’t she know how to do anything else?!” but I swear this should be the last one for a while! (And it totally has nothing to do with the tyrannous new General Manager lawrawrrr forcing me into this, but I don’t want to get fired so I’ll just pretend I meant to cut this side note out of the article.)

First of all, the reason this is happening is because, after Wispur’s sudden departure from the General Management team, lawrawrrr has been announced as the new General Manager with welshcake taking her position as Assistant General Manager (Content). Check out the forum announcement here. So now the General Management team includes lawrawrrr as General Manager, Absently as Assistant General Manager (Community), and welshcake is Assistant General Manager (Content)!

Now onto the point of the article: the articles department is giving you the chance to find out anything you might want to know about the whole General Management team! They’ll be answering anything from what their favourite fruit is to their plans for the future of Habbox, so get your questions in! All three members of General Management will be answering your questions but you can direct your questions at any one of the three.

Make sure to PM me (click here) with everything you want to know, but you only have a short time to get your questions in so make sure you’ve sent me everything by the end of tomorrow (23:59 BST on Wednesday 29th July). The information is the same as always but I’ll put it below as a reminder.

Information:
-You may submit as many questions as you like and do not have to send them all in one PM.
-Your questions may not be used for any reason, and the decision to use your question is up to the discretion of the Articles department.
-If you just want to direct your question(s) at one of the girls, please state this or we won’t be able to tell!
-You may also leave questions in the comments below and I’ll pick them up too!

Big Fansite Interview – Get Involved!1
By - Posted 14th July, 2015

null

With the help of the ever-lovely bloop, the Articles department will be publishing a HUGE interview involving many different fansites for you to read!

However, this will be no small task and we’re asking for your help to submit questions again! Much like with xxMATTGxx’s interview to celebrate Habbox’s 12th birthday, we need you to send your questions in to be answered by any or all of Habbo’s fansites! Plans are not yet finalised so I can’t promise who will be participating in the interview and who won’t, but I can say that we HOPE to see as many of the following fansites up for the interview as possible:

HabboSecrets, HFFM, HabboQuests, HabboHours, FansiteBin, ThisHabbo, HabboKingdom, FlyHabbo, HabboShire, Habulous, HabboTiles, Puhekupla and (of course) Habbox!

If you want a chance to ask ANY of the following fansites any questions, please PM Empired (click here) with as many questions as you like by the end of Sunday 19th July. Alternatively, you can simply click ‘Read More and Comment’ below and leave your questions in the comments as I’ll use anything from in there as well!

Information:
-You may ask as many questions as you like and submit them whenever you think of them (you don’t have to wait and send them all in one PM)
-Your question(s) can be directed at one specific fansite, all of them, or any combination of them. Just make sure you specify who your question is for in the message you send me!
-Please be aware that your question may not be used for any reason, and the use of question is up to the discretion of the Articles department.
