Hey Matt! thanks for finding the time to be interviewed! How are you finding the position as General Manager?
Being General Manager is a cool job to have really, something not everyone expects to even get when they first start working at Habbox. I never even though about management roles when I was first a Forum Moderator back in 2008. I’m finding the role quite enjoyable most of the time and it sure does have it’s up and it’s downs at time, bit like a roller-coaster really but I’m love being in the role and I’m sure I will be still in role for the rest of the year.
What has changed since your last interview in summer?
Not sure what I can say about this one.
Out of the whole staff team (apart from General Management and above) who is standing out the most?
The whole Habbox Staff Team? I wouldn’t be able to pick just one person and I would also think it would be unfair to just pick someone out of all the Habbox staff members who are standing out the most. Each one of them have their strengths and weaknesses like we all do and they do a fantastic job for Habbox.
I’m glad you gave me that answer! What do you basically do in your job?
Basically being General Manager I run Habbox for the two owners who aren’t always here to do everything, hence why they hire a General Management Team. Myself and the GM Team make sure the departments are running as they should, any ideas for the websites in terms to make them better whether that is feature-wise or content-wise gets done and added and just basically ensure Habbox runs without any problems. On a daily basis I have to express my views on certain suggestions or decisions that need to be made whether that is within departments, hiring/firing staff and anything that is in regards of all three Habbox websites. At times I also have to deal with complaints that get addressed to me and make sure I deal with them with the correct actions, even though not everyone will agree the correct action has been given.
Would you say your job can be tiresome?
I wouldn’t say it was tiresome. It can be a bit stressful at times when multiple things are going on and you are trying to work out things in your head and stuff but it can be a quite enjoyable job really. Especially when you work with such great staff members which makes the job even better!
OK, now here’s your ‘Multiple Choice’ questions, you ready?
Yes
Hot or Cold?
Middle
Which department: Competitions or News?
Both departments are very good but I do like how the competitions department advertise like 24/7.

Thanks for the interview Matt, and thanks for reading everyone! Skynus… OUT!
Today unconfirmed news has hit HabboxForum! It is reported that Ludus is no longer a member of staff on Habbo UK.
Ludus has today posted on his Facebook profile starting that he had “made a tough decision today! Time for immediate change in my life and getting my degree is my #1 priority.” – We are given the impression he has resigned from Sulake in order to focus on his studies and degree. Ludus’ homepage is also now hidden.
Although this is unconfirmed the sources are leading to the reports being correct. It is still unknown whether Habbo UK will make any comment about the loss of such a valuable staff member who made an amazing impact on the Habbo Community.
Ludus has entertained us with many of his events, continuous Hotel Alerts, his involvement in large events such as Habwrecked and his interaction with the Habbo Community.
If these reports are correct, he will be sadly missed.
Check back soon for confirmation on this!
Update 01/04/2010 – Today it is confirmed Ludus is no longer Habbo Staff. You can leave a farewell/thank you message for him by clicking here. This was today confirmed by Lost_Witness in a Habbo Article.
