TODAY WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THINGS THAT WERE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE ABOUT 2016
Unless you’ve been living under a rock (which may, in hindsight, have been a great idea) you’ll have noticed that 2016 has been something of a bust. Feel free to replace that understatement with some more colourful language that better matches the devastation of the past annum, but regardless of which adjectives you choose to attribute to the year here are just a few of the depressing lowlights that we’ve endured in the run-up to what’s set to be a dark, dark, dark Christmas.

Today has been a very important day for Britain. Much sooner than everyone expected, a new Prime Minister has officially been asked by the Queen to form a government and David Cameron has officially resigned. At midday today, Cameron was present for his last ever Prime Minister’s Questions and was widely praised by his party for the hard work he has done during his time in power. He also received a standing ovation from the Conservative party at the conclusion of the event.
Later this afternoon, a moment in history was made as David Cameron visited the Queen to resign. The Queen’s next meeting was with our new Prime Minister Theresa May, who she officially asked to form a government. It has also been announced that Larry the cat will continue his role as ‘Chief Mouser’ at Number 10 and will not be moving out with the Cameron family. President Obama has announced today that the threat of a nuclear terrorist attack is very real. They have announced that the group so called IS (Islamic State) is “one of the greatest threats” to global security.
Apparently this is very real, and countries all cross the world are stepping up to try and target these attacks before it changes the world… for good! President Obama has stated “The threat from terrorists trying to launch a nuclear attack that would “change our world” is real.
More than 250 business leaders have officially announced that they support the exit of Britain to leave the European Union and the list keeps growing? However, leaders have now started a battle and have been signing paperwork that says we should stick in the EU. This list however only consists of 36 leaders. What does this mean?
