Seasonal Furni

Seasonal Furni are part of sets of furniture which are available at specific times of the year, generally to go with real life events, for example Christmas and Halloween. They are also special days around the world, such as the Olympics and Chinese New Year

This furni had been in the catalogue for ages, as Love furni. After Valentines 2004 it was taken out of the catalogue, it will be back every year around Valentines Day.

The Pink Habbo Roller is the first ever addition to the Love section of the Catalogue. It made it's first and only appearance during Valentines 2006.

Easter

Easter furni was in the catalogue as early as 2001, although there is no furni left from that year, because Habbo deleted it as soon as Easter was over. It was back in the catalogue around Easter 2002, and this time the furni stayed, after it was taken out of the catalogue when easter was over. To many people's disappointment, Habbo put the same furni in the catalogue at Easter 2003 and Easter 2004, without adding something new.

Like all seasonal rares, Halloween furni is only in the catalogue around Halloween. It's first appearance was in 2001, but Habbo deleted all the furni when Halloween was over. The same furni came back in 2002 and 2003, and stayed in the Hotel after it was taken out of the catalogue. Note that there is one more Halloween furni, the Mummy, but this one was put in the Accessories section of the catalogue after Halloween 2002. The Eaten Ham was originally not part of the Halloween furni, it was in the Accessories section of the catalogue. Near the end of 2003 it was taken out, and it came back as Halloween furni in 2004. The Bat Poster and Jolly Roger flag were originally in the Gallery and Flags section of the catelogue. At Halloween 2004 they were also shown on the Halloween page of the catalogue, and in April 2005 they were both removed from the catalogue, so they became Seasonal Furni. At Halloween 2005 the Eaten Ham and Jolly Roger flag were not put in the catalogue, but the Knight Roller was introduced as new furni.

The Christmas furni was first seen at Christmas 2001, althought not everything that we have now was there. The two Hyacinths, Poinsetta, four stars and two Tinsel were added at Christmas 2002, and the two candles first arrived at Christmas 2003. After Christmas 2002 Habbo moved the four stars and two Tinsel to the Gallery section of the catalogue. In April 2004 they were removed from the Gallery section, together with the Winter Wonderland Poster, Snowman Poster and Angel Poster. The Winter Wonderland Poster and Snowman Poster were added to the Christmas section in December 2004, the Angel Poster was added for the first time in December 2005.

During the first half of 2002 the Christmas furni was the first and only rare furni ever in the Hotel, and this is when the rare trading started. The Christmas rares became very valuable, but this all collapsed when at Christmas 2002 Habbo put them all back into the catalogue again. Note that Christmas Tree 3 used to be called Christmas tree 2, the same as the other one and the Red / White candle used to be Red / White Candle.

During christmas 2007 Habbo saw several father christmas candidates battle it out to win the hearts of the Habbo public. Every week a new santa would come to the hotel and a selection of furni would be released to try and pursuade the people of Habbo to make them there santa.

The Old Christmas tree and the Gingerbread House were released in the catalogue for only a short while in December 2003. Their description was in Finnish. In January 2004 they were officially released in the catalogue in a new section. This Gingerbread House used to be called called Eaten Gingerbreadhouse.

Asian furni arrived to the UK hotel in July 2006, It was first thought to be a perm fixture to the Habbo catalogue but was soon removed a while later. Since then Asian furniture has been coming in and out of the catalogue for various reasons incuding Chinese New Year.

Sports Furni

All these furni used to be in a catalogue section called Sports.

Grass Track (Straight)Grass Track (Corner)Grass Track (Sport Goal)

Tartan Track (Straight)Tartan Track (Corner)Tartan Track (Sport Goal)

At one point the three Hockey Sticks, together with the Basketball Trophy and Basketball Hoop were taken out off the catalogue. A while later Habbo deleted all Hockey Sticks that were put inside rooms, so only the ones kept inside the big hand survived. Later they placed the red Hockey Stick and Basketball Hoop back inside the catalogue, at which point only the Basketball Trophy and the two other Hockey Sticks were rare. Then at the beginning of September 2004, after the Olympic Games had ended, Habbo removed the Sports section from the catalogue completely, announcing that it will be put back at the next big sports event. At the beginning of September 2005 all sports furni was released in the catalogue for a short period of time.

The Sports Tracks are new additions to Habbo which came with the release of Habbo Version 9. These were released during the Habbowealth Games in March 2006. The Straight and Corner tracks were 3 credits each and the goals/finish lines were sold for 5 credits each. You could also order them in packs like the Habbo Rollers, these packs can be of 4 and 8.

The Grass Sports Tracks came out last during the 2006 World Cup season. They were released on the 13th June 2006 and were sold with the other tracks at this time for the same price.

Also it can be noted that:

  • The Basketball Hoop originally contained the word LEGO. This was removed later.
  • When the Sports section was introduced for the first time it also contained the Lert. Later this piece of sports furni moved to the Accessories section of the catalogue where it is still for sale
