Don’t worry – it’s not bad news for us all, but if you’re the UK, get ready to open up your wallets even more to Habbo…

However, this time, to be fair, it genuinely isn’t their fault. As most of you probably have heard, VAT has recently rised in the UK. What this basically means is that more money from the everyday things you purchase in shops or online will go to the government. Unfortunately for us, even buying credits on Habbo has a tax to be paid!

So, just to confuse the credit pricing even more, there are some painfully annoying changes in pricing for UK credits. Usually, £3 buying from your house phone would get you 35 credits. However, it will now get you 34. Confusing, right? It gets worse I’m afraid…

I hope your purses are ready to deal with some serious odd numbers, as on the most part only one or two credits are being knocked from the usual total, with a few exceptions that come with paying with cards.

Currently:
£1.50 = 12 Credits
£3.00 = 25 Credits

Will change to:
£1.50 = 11 Credits
£3.00 = 24 Credits

Credit/Debit/Prepaid Cards

Currently:
£5.00 = 40 Credits
£10.00 = 80 Credits
£25.00 = 225 Credits
£50.00 = 500 Credits

Will change to:
£5.00 = 39 Credits
£10.00 = 78 Credits
£25.00 = 220 Credits
£50.00 = 490 Credits
