WiReD-MaZe – owned by Az:

This is the first time since I started writing these reviews that I’ve actually finished a maze relatively quickly! Although it will put a lot of users off that the maze is so easy, it’s a great one for maze noobs (aka, me) or beginners to start with!

As expected, a simple maze such as this is not the most expensive maze either. The owner has set out to create a functional maze, as many of the big maze owners forget to do these days – instead opting for pretty, well-designed one, often directly impacting on the actual maze elements.

However, Az has managed to create a maze that’s extremely varied, well thought out and the actual maze parts are well designed. Obviously, cost limitations mean it could be improved greatly, but we can’t expect perfection from everyone!

Having said that, I don’t think the designing of the maze is actually that bad! It does show that he’s used cheaper furni (mats, plasto, heart gifts), but the way they’re put together is quite nice, and he’s definitely focused on a few rooms at a time to make them better – the main room for example is quite well themed. I think it might be possible to sell the more expensive furni – birdbath, petal patches and Architeuthis teleports to be able to buy lots of smaller pieces of furni which would improve the overall look of the maze.

At any rate, I do like this maze and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone just discovering the maze scene for the first time, or looking for an easier maze to finish.
