The famous singer Adele has had to cancel all of her remaining live dates and promotional appearances for 2011 due to her on-going throat and voice problems.
Adele had to cancel her 10 day long US tour earlier this month after being diagnosed with a vocal cord haemorrhage (loss of blood). The singer was also due to perform 6 UK performances which had been postponed from September due to her suffering from a severe cold and chest infection.
A comment was put on Adele’s website that she said she was undergoing surgery to ease/improve the current issues with her throat. As a result of this, doctors have ordered her to rest her voice and completely recuperate before looking to schedule anymore work commitments.
Adele also stated earlier this month that she was heartbroken and if she did do these performances then she could risk damaging her voice forever. There are probably lots and lots of fans that are very disappointed by this news, but come on surely you can sympathise with her for that! So from all of us at Habbox, we wish you a speedy recovery Adele and we hope to see you performing on our stages very soon!
What do you think of this recent news, could it be the end for Adele?
