Amazing Books1
By - Posted 2nd March, 2017 at 8:00 am The Real World

Do you like reading books? I know I do! If you’d like to hear about a book that I liked then read more!

We’ve all came across books which we find boring and others which we find amazing. Books can be quite captivating as they can tell a story but they can also be very informative. I’d like to tell you about a book that I’ve read: I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai and Patricia McCormick.

Okay so before I actually go on to the book review, I’d like to tell you a bit about Malala. She is a woman who stood up for women’s rights and her education. Because she did this, she got shot in the head a few years ago and yet she survived! She still stands up for women’s rights today!

Okay, moving onto the review! I Am Malala is a book that I read about a couple months ago. Right from reading it at the beginning I was drawn in and I wanted to read more and more – so I did, right to the very end of it! This book tells the story of Malala’s background and the events leading up to the incident where she got shot. The book also tells us how her life had changed after she’d got shot – the places she had gone to and her new home in a new country.

I think that this book was fantastically written – there was a wide range of vocabulary and there were some heartfelt moments that came to life. I was able to imagine everything in my head from the colours to the emotions. The book was very entertaining all the way through. I was inspired by this book and Malala is a very inspirational woman!

Do I think there’s anything that could be changed? No! I absolutely don’t – it was perfect the way it was! I think the best thing about this book was that it was a true story – or should I say that it is a true story?

I think that everyone should read this book. This is one of the most inspirational books I’ve ever read!

Would you read this book? Is there any books that you like? Do you like this article? Let me know in the comments section below!
