The cold weather has came back to the United Kingdom!
Cold weather is expected to return this week. Parts of the south east will see cold winds and snow from Thursday, but there will not be a return of the sub – zero temperatures seen in December, when the deep freeze caused chaos for millions of travellers.
In England and Wales, the temperature forecast is between 1C (34F) and 4C (39F), which is slightly below average for January. Weather forecaster Gareth Harvey said there may be a few flakes of snow but no big accumulations are expected. He added that the snow could appear anywhere across the country but it is due to be concentrated in the south east. Last month was one of the coldest ever recorded in the UK.
I’m so glad its not going to the temperatures it was in December, but I really hope it will snow alot.
