Fans of hit BBC1 show, The Great British Bake Off, have been left with a sour taste in their mouths after it was announced that the show is moving to Channel 4! The hugely popular show, which attracted 10.4 million viewers for its opening episode this year, will move channels after this current series ends. Shortly after the news it was also announced that popular hosts Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc will be leaving the show.
In a further shock to fans this week, Mary Berry has also announced she is leaving, stating her reason as loyalty to the BBC. With three of its staple characters departing, only Paul Hollywood will make the move over to Channel 4. Will you continue watching The Great British Bake Off after it has moved channels? Or will the adverts put you off? Let us know in the poll below!

Personally, I think the show will be quite different having lost so many of its staple characters. For me it will really depend on who they manage to secure to host the show. What do you think? Will you continue watching? Let us know below! You can also take part in the discussion on our forum by clicking here.
