Rumours have been exploding all over the place that ‘Fozzie’ has resigned from Habbo…
Many rumours have been discussed around the hotel suggesting that the hotel manager ‘Fozzie’ has resigned from Sulake and is packing her bags at Habbo Hotel. The first pieces of evidence that suggested she was quitting from Sulake, was 2 replies a user received when emailing customer support. Here are the replies they received;
“Hello. Thank you for contacting Habbo. I’m sorry but we no longer collaborate with YAP, and we would not be running any YAP related campaigns anymore. Thanks.”
“Hello. Thank you for contacting Habbo. Please note that YAP-Cindy has been emailed by us, I’m sorry if she did not mention this to YAP members. For your info, Fozzie is sadly no longer with Habbo.“
Sulake have yet to comment on the rumours spreading around the hotel, but because customer support suggested that Fozzie has quit the hotel, then it is most likely she has (Customer support aren’t going to tell lies). Lots of people have already discovered that Fozzie has left and have started commenting on her guestbook begging her not to go, many users on Habbox Forum have also been showing their respect and presenting their farewells for Fozzie as she departs from the hotel.
YAP was an Australian campaign which arrived at Habbo last year and attracted a great deal of attention from users. Sadly, because it is an Australian campaign and Fozzie was the only Australian manager – the campaign is now being removed from Habbo. Please remember, if you do have a badge for the YAP campaign you will not lose it!
Fozzie became staff on Habbo.Au on the 13th of December 2005, she took the place of Bamaloo. Fozzie was also incredibly lucky when all English speaking hotels merged because out of 17 Australian staff, she was 1 of 2 who managed to maintain their job at Habbo. She became one of the most memorable and oldest hotel managers (she nearly lasted 6 years!)
Many users have also pointed out that Sulake probably hired ‘Kitano’ (the new manager) to take Fozzie’s place before she was fired, or to ‘Soften the blow’. There have been no sources confirming this though and there is no other sources confirming Fozzie’s retirement – so it is still debatable whether she is leaving or not.
If Fozzie is leaving the hotel, everyone from Habbox/HabboxLive/HabboxForum thank her for the time and effort she has contributed to the hotel and we hope she gets far in the future! If it is a false rumour then…we hope she stays with Habbo for many more years.
