Normally, when Habbo are about to release some new furni there is an excited buzz about it, but this time, once again Habbo have completely crossed all boundaries by starting what looks like a condom campaign. That’s right, I didn’t typo, Habbo really are starting a condom campaign. To the right, you can see a Durex condom machine, which is part of the campaign. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against the idea of promoting safe sex and such, but bearing in mind the fact that you can get banned on Habbo for simply saying the word ‘sex‘ it makes you think twice whether or not they are promoting in the right place. Let’s not forget, the majority of Habbo users are under 16 and it frustrates me how they always use young members as an excuse, yet they release something like this? I actually dread to see what will come out of that condom machine, I honestly hope it’s not different flavoured condoms.

 

Apart from the condom machine, on the left you can see the Durex rug which quite frankly looks like a big condom. Which again, makes you think why Habbo would do this. They are constantly warning us, holding Infobus sessions, writing articles telling us to be safe, to be careful both online and in real life, but is this the best way to go about supporting that? 

However, it’s not all doom and gloom as Habbo have released three pretty cool things! First of all, let’s start with possibly the coolest update of the three, the jack in the box (take a look on the left). Although the actual ‘Jack’ isn’t of the prettiest, it looks like a very interesting new release and for some reason, I can see this furniture in casino’s stacked on lodge corners just bouncing away and causing lag. We now also know what the drink will look like from the Banana Vending Machine (pictured below). If you look to the right, you can see what the Banana drink will actually look like! Cool stuff huh?

 

But that’s not the only thing, uhuh! We’ve also found out about some brand new spanking summer badges! The badges are pictured below but at this moment in time we do not have any idea what these badges could be used for, let’s hope its not for one of those pointless quests again.
