Thousands of accounts that were banned for a security investigation have been returned to their owners.

Recently, after a security breach regarding many fake links, Habbo banned thousands of accounts that they believed to have been compromised while an investigation was under way. Some Habbos, including Habbox Staff such as Kasabian and Elegance, were forced to use clone accounts while their accounts were being investigated. But now, after at least a week of waiting, their accounts are finally unbanned again. To ensure that this doesn’t happen again, Sulake has made changes to log in methods. For example, if you use Facebook to log into Habbo Hotel, it’s been reset so you can use Facebook and other websites without the worry of being hacked. If you did not use other sites to log into Habbo, your log in method is still unchanged. I would like to say welcome back to all accounts that have returned from their vacation, and don’t worry – you haven’t missed a lot!
