Charging Phone Batteries Made Easier with Furniture!0
By - Posted 4th July, 2015 at 9:53 pm

With the recent improvement and innovations in technology, anything is possible. To further illustrate this point, new developments in the furnishing industry have garnered Swedish company IKEA a step forward in terms of technological measures with the help of Wireless Power Consortium. This involves allowing phones to be charged by being placed on top of their lamps and wired-up desks. One advantage to these are the fact that wires will not be necessary to charge the phones. So in other words, goodbye messy tables!

According to IKEA’s Lighting and Wireless manager Jeanette Skjelmose – these new solutions, which integrates wireless charging of phones with home furnishings, will make life at home effortless and easy. These products are on schedule to be sold in Europe and North America starting this coming April, before spreading to the rest of the world.

Well, I would certainly want to buy these, but the problem most likely lies in the cost of these furnishings. What do you think?
