Even know Cheryl Cole’s future as an X Factor judge is unknown, It looks like Simon Cowell has another plan!
Cheryl may have missed out on getting a judge role onX Factor, but Simon has another idea! If Cheryl is unsuccessful at becoming ajudge on X Factor USA, Simon is allegedly planning to get Cheryl to help him mentor the acts on the show.
It is thought that by acting as Simon’s aide, Cheryl can build her profile in the US and eventually work her way up to a role on the judging panel on the next season of X Factor USA. A source closed to Simon said: “Simon desperately wants Cheryl to be a judge but if that’s knocked back by Fox chiefs the next option is to start her as a mentor.”
 
They added: “It would be a way to test how she’s received in America. Plus viewers would be able to warm to her first, rather than having her thrust upon them by going straight on the panel.”

Personally, I think that Cheryl Cole should just become a mentor. She is not known in the US, so it’s best if she starts of from being a mentor.
