Clare Lands A New Job!0
By - Posted 4th July, 2015 at 9:42 pm
We have all seen her friendly face on both the racing channels and through-out the 2012 London Olympic Games. Well now you can get to see her
on Channel 4! Yes you’ve heard it right, after being the BBCs main racing presenter since 1997 she has signed a four year deal with Channel 4
which will sadly prevent her from presenting racing on any other channel. She will still be able to take other presenting jobs though at the BBC, luckily.

Who are we talking about I hear you ask? Clare Balding of course! The 41 year old former jockey whose father Ian was a racehorse trainer was said to be thrilled to have landed this job. Well wouldn’t you be thrilled? Think of all that cash! She’ll might not be rolling in the deep but she is certainly rolling in the dough. Top jockey Frankie Dettori was happy to hear the news. Here is his own words, “Its brilliant news for racing. She’s bound to bring new fans to Channel 4 racing which has to be a big plus”. So for all you horse racing fans out there, watch out cause Clare will be about on Channel 4’s racing! Please remember to click here if you want to know more about the Crossword Challenge.

Coming right up at you is Clue Seventeen for the Crossword Challenge – What is the first name of the top jockey who was happy that Clare got a new job?
