What’s that? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s the new Cloud feature on Habbo!

The codes were added a week ago, but we finally have exclusive images of what the new feature will look like! Complete with Cloud Machine, Background Toner and Background Scenes (I’m talking big, not landscapes here), it should bring a whole new dimension to Habbo. We’ve only found 1 scene – mountains – so far, but I can see Sulake execs adding many more, to fit any room design from jungles to cities to deserts. 

The background scene seems to be of a different graphical design – much smoother lines than the crude pixels of Habbo avatars and furniture, but a step towards the new feel they are slowly releasing with the update to Ilumina. Although many people will complain about the changes, I think that it’s a step in the right direction, modernizing it for a new generation of players.

As for the background toner and clouds, it seems as though once you’ve purchased your background, you can change how dark/light it is to fit in with the colour clouds you’ve bought. They come in dark or light colours – perfect for different room designs. Lets just hope they aren’t too expensive as last month’s Crossword Challenge has bankrupted me!

Finally, it looks as though a new effect will be introduced along the same theme – of a raincloud. Perfect for those days when you’re feeling blue – why does it always rain on me (8)! This should all be introduced within the next week.
