I must say, I love English at the moment. I am currently creating a Power Point presentation for language over the years and how it has changed and influenced our language we have now.
As I like to challenge myself I chose the hardest one to do, the Romans, Vikings and Normans. Now, I didn’t mind as I did these for History at GCSE and did an Exam on them, I got a G in my first one then an E when I reset it but anyway, not the point, I still enjoyed it.
My male English teacher decided to tell us we were doing the Anglo-Saxons as well, great more workload? We were already doing the hardest and now they add to it!
However, yesterday in my English lesson I worked my fingers to the bone and ended up writing approximately five full pages of research, even my teacher noticed that I was enjoying it, I couldn’t help but smile! I feel, because it’s something new and I enjoy it, I don’t mind doing it as much, I want to excel in the subject and I like it very much.
What do you think? About English? Or about any subject in general. In fact, I have the option of picking up and extra AS level next year, if you have any suggestions I’d love to hear them!
Comment below and I’ll be sure to get back to you.
Thanks for reading.
