Manchester United’s manager fights the FA about improper conduct charges!
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said that he will fight the improper conduct charges against him after his criticism of referee Martin Atkinson. Following Manchester United’s 2 – 1 loss against Chelsea last Tuesday, Alex Ferguson appeared to question the referees’ impartiality after his failure to red card Chelsea’s defender David Luiz.
Manchester United’s manager has now been charged with improper conduct by the FA and if the charges are upheld, Sir Alex Ferguson could face a long touchline ban. A spokesman for the club said that Sir Alex Ferguson has asked for a personal hearing.
It was in a post-match broadcast on Manchester United’s official television that Alex Ferguson gave his damning verdict on Martin Atkinson’s display. Sir Alex Ferguson said “I don’t know how he got this game, you want a fair referee and when I saw who it was, I feared that. It’s incredible, for three years in a row decisions have changed the game here”. Alex Ferguson said that he was proud of his players and that they had put up with a lot of bad decisions, but they had done their best out there.
Alex Ferguson is a great manager, but he dosn’t like it when he don’t get his own way.
