Forget your Ugly Christmas Jumper and Suit Up!0
By - Posted 7th December, 2015 at 12:41 am The Real World

Don’t worry, you’ll appreciate my word play in the title up there in just a few minutes. But finally, time to bring out those ugly Christmas sweaters again! Slowly creeping back into fashion, it seems that more and more people are getting into the tradition of wearing these absolute wrecks of fashion. There’s even some schools and other institutions that dedicate a day to wearing these fashion beasts; but perhaps not this year with the introduction of… OppoSuits!

These new suits sport some rather striking Christmas patterns, all the way from snowflakes and icicles to the traditional Christmas red and blue, you can get your hands on one of these suits (and I mean, why wouldn’t you!?) just in time for Christmas!

Read on for information on how you can get (ugly Christmas) suited up this year!

Indeed, the fashion industry seems to be moving away from the idea of having a sweater for Christmas, there are now suits for this very purpose. I kid you not, there is now such a concept on the market named ‘Ugly Christmas suits’. We’re talking about full 3 piece suits with snowflake patterns from tie to shoe. We’re talking bright red and green waistcoats here people. Crafted in what is said to be 100% polyester, the e-tailor OppoSuits boasts a huge selection of Christmas suits, some of which have actually sold out.

There’s truly a rather striking resemblance between these suits to that cheap wrapping paper you’ll find in supermarkets, which of course you only use to inflict disappointment in the eyes of that relative you don’t actually like, and you can get your very own suit for the low low price of $99.95 (USD). In accordance to OppoSuits, “the high quality fabric, similar to proper ‘boring’ suits, enables you to wear your OppoSuit over and over again, so please don’t think it’s some sort of a disposable fancy dress costume.” – Yep, the perfect gift for him this year, right..?
