Feast your eyes on this!
Free school meals boost results. Huh,what are you talking about is what your probably thinking. I will enlighten you. A
study looking at the effects of making
free school meals apply to everyone has suggested that primary pupils advance by two months on average as a result. It has been piloted in
two areas of England. In one area there was free school meals to all if they wanted it and in the other area there was free school meals to some but not everyone. The reason for doing this is it will help
close the gap between the
rich and those who come from
poorer homes. If im honest,I haven’t a clue what difference it would make because at the end of the day. The rich kids will have newer uniform and the poor kids might have to make do with their old uniform. The study looked at the impact of extending entitlement to free school meals in three
English local authority areas over a two-year period. How is it boosting the childs productivity whilst at school? Well it’s simple. If they get school meals for free, they won’t need a pack lunch which could supply
unhealthy food that won’t power the brain. It’s certainly food for thought!
I’m going to go back to watching the thunder and lightning.
