It was my last day of school today. I’ve written this for our final assembly, I think it’s quite a nice way to say goodbye to everyone there. Do let me know what you think, or leave any (constructive) criticism in the comments!

I look on down the table,
And see the smiling faces there,
Friends that I can count on,
No matter when or where.
Some I’ve had forever,
Some I’ve this year met,
But a finer bunch than these,
I swear you’ll never get.
The year is over now,
Today we go our separate ways,
But I’ll never forget you all,
I’ll smile and think of you, on rainy days.
