In the modern Habbo, many people do not know the staff that manage the day to day running of Habbo hotel. Members will play Habbo for years on end without knowing the people that are in charge of moderation, development and the other departments that are essential to the successful running of the hotel.
One exception from this rule was Grecian9 (Fansites_Jason). He was known for his involvement with the community and with fansites in particular. Jason has always took time to answer questions from Habbo’s, and no matter what you thought of Jason, everyone always knew that he was a dedicated member of staff. He was also, to most people, one of the public faces of Sulake.
It therefore is with great sadness that Jason announced his resignation from Sulake yesterday. This was confirmed by a tweet replying to Habbox that read: ‘leaving all together. I’m moving to a new job, new organisation.It was a job I couldn’t turn down.’
Many Habbo’s have been saddened by this announcement, and job applications have been opened to fill his role, but it is unlikely that the person chosen to replace him will show the same dedication to the job that Jason has over the years.
