So, we have Twitter, we have all these exclusives, you might think nothing else is needed! Well, you are very wrong! Earlier today, Habbo has launched its funky new blog, which is called ‘Behind the Pixels’. The title for such a blog is pretty self-explanatory, as Habbo will post some behind-the-scenes details on new and upcoming projects.
There are rules to this blog, which consist of the obvious no profane comments, racism or trolling. The blog itself will excite many, as it will give plenty of opportunities to interact with top level Sulake officials by giving opinions, participating in polls and even entering some crazy competitions from time to time. The blog is supposed to compliment what is already being Tweeted about by the Sulake staff. It also, a bit like me, attempts in a vain effort to be funny.
The team that runs the blog consists of a number of top Sulake officials. They include: CEO Paul Lafontaine, who seems to have an omnipresent aura to him, almost as if he is now part of the family; also blogging away are Head of Habbo Product, Heini; Mark, Senior Copywriter, who has been treading the Habbo corridors for the last 10 years with various campaigns; and finally, Lynn, Senior Manager, User Communication, who will be the editor-in-chief of this brilliant new blog. So the pressure will be on her!
Reactions to this blog have been mostly positive, as it is another great tool for staff to communicate with users. Tell us what you think about it by clicking ‘read more’ and commenting! The URL link to the blog is: http://blog.habbo.com/.
