Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It’s a… rubber duck… Happy Rubber Duckie Day!

Today is not just any ordinary day, oh no. Today is one of the utmost important days EVER! Okay, maybe I exaggerated a little bit, but it is true that the rubber duck has become one of the most iconic items of Habbo furni there is. No, seriously.

It was certainly my first piece of furni I ever bought (who could resist for just one credit?) and I’m sure it was the first for many of you too. And today, January 13th, is officially International Rubber Duck Day, so it would seem inappropriate and ignorant not to celebrate our legendary bath tub buddies!

Tonight is going to be a night full of duck-related festivities. I’m not sure how that will go down, but, hey! It’s all up to you. Time to whip out all of your duckies from storage and put them on show in your room for the occasion. Tag your room with the word ‘duckie‘ to show it on the Navigator, and no doubt you will have people swimming in. If you’re running short of duckies, or you simply don’t have any, then YOU SHOULD BE ARRESTED! Sorry, I mean, ALL of the ducks ever released are available in the catalog just for this weekend.

In addition to this, Habbo are giving away several surprise ducks in a teeny weeny competition, where all you have to do is pop your favourite memory of Habbo duckies and you could be receiving a rubbery little friend for free!
