Out in Habbo at the moment, there is a hotel wide mute going on.

Rumors have been going around that this is because of the investigations conducted by Channel 4. It has been reported that following the mutes Habb’s have been in rooms, dancing, waving and using the torch effect. Sulake’s CEO has been answering users via twitter and also updating them on the current situation. He has posted on the Sulake website his responses to everything. One of Habbo’s biggest investors have also pulled out when concerns were raised about sexually explicit conversations and actions happening inside of the Hotel which was shown earlier on this evening, in Channel 4’s news. As the hours tick by we can only hope that they are making improvements to the Habbo filter and perhaps, other things which will make Habbo a safer place to be.
