Investigation – Free Chat!0

Looking around on Habbo, all seems fine at first glance; however, there are still some rooms that contain adult content. Whilst on Habbo Patrol I have witnessed on more than one occasion webcams being asked for. Adding users is a fairly common thing to be seen in many rooms. You can only imagine why they want to add the opposite gender only to their friends list.

In the party category, rooms with TEENS in the name is common and in most of these rooms but not all adult chat still does happen despite Habbo’s efforts. Moderation responses can be a lot quicker then it was before the Channel 4 report on Habbo. As expected though on an evening you can wait hours for an answer, which suggests that the Moderators still are finding it difficult. To solve this problem Habbo should hire more Mods. I somehow doubt this will happen but we never know – they could surprise us!

Let’s talk about Habbo Patrol. As you know this was brought out so the community could be extra eyes for a Mod. Basically, in my own opinion I don’t think it’s working as well as it could because some Habbos just report anyone and everyone. This leads to unfair mutes and wrongful bans.

Do you agree with what I have said or disagree? Maybe you even have ideas on what Habbo could do to resolve these problems? If so let me know by commenting on this article. Enjoy watching the rest of the 2012 Olympic Games!
