It’s the news all ‘beliebers’ have been dreading since the pair were first spotted together.
 
The rumours began in December when the loved up pair were seen having pancakes at a restaurant in Philadelphia. When questioned Selena Gomez denied that there was any romance going on and said that they were simply, ‘friends’. Previous to this Justin had been linked to the star of his ‘Baby’ video, Jasmine Villegas. They were photographed kissing in the back of a car in September.
 
Since then, Justin and Selena have been spotted on numerous occasions acting very much like a couple. Most recently pictures emerged of themkissing and cuddling on a boat in the Caribbean. This caused Justin’s fans to send death threats to Selena, none of which have been responded to. A similar incident occurred when Kim Kardashian uploaded a photo of her and Justin to twitter and received death threats from his fans, many of whom are believed to be quite young.
 
So after many months of speculation, the couple have now confirmed their relationship by going public at the 2011 Oscars. They posed for photographs with their arms around each other and were also spotted laughing and staring at the pictures they took in the booth at the party. They also colour co-ordinated their outfits for the event, with Selena dressed in a red floor length gown and Justin matching in his black suit with a red pocket square, both by D&G.
 
Justin has already been linked to many stars, one famous face is Rihanna, who has apparently been asked out by the 16 year old many times. This rumour started again when he gave her a peck on the cheek at the 2011 BRIT Awards. Other stars include Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian.
