Moments ago pop star Lady Gaga revealed the products she has been designing with legendary photography corporation Polaroid at a presentation in Las Vegas.
The two forces joined together to create Polaroid’s ‘Polaroid Grey Label‘, consisting of three different products designed by Lady Gaga, that will be released into the public later this year. The presentation held in Las Vegas by Lady Gaga and the chairman of Polaroid Corporation Bobby Sager was streamed live on the internet for fans to watch.
The first product was revealed onto the internet a few hours ago by Gaga’s close friend Perez Hilton. The product is sun glasses which can take digital photos, that are stored on a detachable USB device on the glasses. Gaga claims they are the first ever glasses that can take pictures. “Only Lady Gaga could create a hybrid that’s part fashion statement, part revolutionary technology and part tool for self-expression,” Polaroid said of the product.
Another product revealed at the presentation was a new portable printer device, that prints photos wirelessly via Bluetooth technology. To demonstrate the printer, the Bad Romance singer used her Blackberry mobile phone to take a picture of the audience, saying: “Smile! You’re so ****ing famous!” She then linked up the photo to the printer, and printed off a photo in less than 40 seconds.
The final product on the Grey Label is the new version of the good old fashioned Polaroid camera, which Gaga described as “sexy and slick.” Though I must admit, to me it was the least impressive out of the range.
With Gaga as the ‘new face’ of Polaroid, I am guessing this Grey Label range will be very successful! What do you think? Let us know by leaving a comment!
