Lost Monkey Global Release Confirmed!0
By - Posted 4th July, 2015 at 9:23 pm
The Lost Monkey, a Sulake application for Apple hardware such as the iPod Touch and the iPhone, has a solid international release date!

Originally released in Finland, Sulake have decided that in anticipation of the monkey pet, many people will want an experienced ape before anyone else. The picture to the right depicts the monkey you control, who unfortunately has been zapped from his world straight onto a desert island, hence the title, and you aim is to return him to his most favourite spot in the whole town, Habbo Hotel! I’m sure I’ve never seen someone so eager to get back!

Sulake have officially given the release date: Friday 30th September! For some of our Finnish readers, you may already have bought (yes, nothing in life is free, and quirky animal simulators made by a socializing company are no exception!) and tried the app, as it has been out for weeks there. The graphics are similar to Habbo, with common avatars being used in-game to represent different things.

There are numerous mini-games which level up your monkey and get you golden coins, used to decorate your island and new games. However, those of you who cannot afford to buy multiple new mobiles with minutely-improved properties every few months, may have trouble. The app is unreliable and rarely works on iPhone 3Gs and before and older models of the iPod Touch. They boast “An exciting storyline that will capture your heart and blow your mind” and “A lush island paradise you can decorate and customize”. I’m sure excited and I’ll be getting it first thing in the morning, but what about you?

Have you got the app? If so, what is it like? Is it worth getting? Or is Habbo still Sulake’s best venture? Or are you somewhere else, and intently waiting for tomorrow to get it? Leave your thoughts below!
