It’s been confirmed that Austin Powers and Shrek actor Mike Myers and his long time girlfriend Kelly Tisdale got married in a private ceremony in New York. They first started dating in 2006, not long after Mike Myers had split up from his first wife Robin Ruzan who was also an actress/writer, after they’d been married for 12 years. Kelly Tisdale has previously dated dance music star, Moby.
They were spotted on holiday in Hawaii and it was revealed that they were an item. Kelly Tisdale then confirmed their romance and then said that they were surprised that the news of them getting married had not got out to the press sooner. Recently Mike Myers admitted that he thinks he is like Shrek, the green ogre he voiced in the four animated films, saying that they are both ‘insecure’.
When he was asked if he had anything in common with Kelly Tisdale, his answer was that it was insecurity. Mike Myers, who is 47 years of age, has now completed his work on Shrek‘ and says he is very proud on being a part of it.
