Nintendo 3DS Soon to Arrive in Habbo!0
By - Posted 4th July, 2015 at 9:20 pm

It seems like we’ll be getting a full ‘how-to’ on the new Nintendo 3DS!

The Nintendo 3DS was only released in March this year, similar to the original DS but boasting an impressive 3D feature. Without the need to use glasses to experience your games in 3D, it means the end of those weird stares you get from strangers when you walk down the street, as you realise you forgot to take your glasses off after that 3D film you just saw… Near the end of June it was reported that 4.32 million units of the Nintendo 3DS had been shipped worldwide, despite the claims that it could cause harm to vision when playing it.

It looks like a new campaign revolving around the Nintendo 3DS will soon be arriving in Habbo, after the discovery of 3 new badges today. Although the badges show the same picture of a pixel 3DS, the backgrounds suggest that in order to gain them you’ll have to complete tasks of varying difficulty. They range from bronze to gold, and the descriptions have given us a hint as to what will be expected. The bronze badge has the description, ‘I know all about streetpass’ which is a feature that allows you to connect with other 3DS players should you happen to walk past each other on the street with your handhelds turned on. The silver badge is all about Augmented Reality Games and the 3DS camera, whilst the gold badge is about a game called The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, a remastered version of an old classic.

If you’re a proud owner of a Nintendo 3DS the first 2 badges should be a breeze to achieve. If you’re slightly newer to the 3DS scene, there’s a chance that your local Argos will have one on display for you to try before you buy. From personal experience of testing one out at my local Argos I can tell you that the 3DS feature is pretty good, considering the absence of glasses. Will you be collecting these badges?
