Michael Owen is sidelined due to injury.
Manchester United’s Michael Owen is on the sidelines again after damaging his groin during training. The striker was hit by his injury curse again on Monday afternoon at the clubs Carrington training base.
He was taking part in his shooting session, when he walked off the pitch and told coaching staff that his ‘groin had gone’. He had scans last Wednesday and the results were expected the day after (Thursday), which indicated how long the thirty one year old will be out of action.
Michael Owen has only made six appearances so far this season for Manchester United and has scored only one goal. With Michael Owens injury, Sir Alex Ferguson had to change his line up against non league side Crawley Town today, but Ferguson is hoping that Michael Owen will be fit for their Champion League trip to Marseille.
It’s a shame that Alex Ferguson don’t play Owen more often, because he is an amazing player. It’s a shame he all ways gets injured.
