It’s official – Peter Andre is heading back to the jungle!

ITV has today confirmed that pop sensation Peter Andre, will return to hit UK reality series ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’  this evening, but for one day only as part of an uncoming jungle challenge.

It has been reported that he will be rejoining the show as part of a ‘Day of Treats’ for the current contestants. Producers have given campmates a day filled with fun and action, beginning with a ‘danceathon’ to Abba’s ‘Dancing Queen’, folk song ‘Cotton-Eyed Joe’ and Andre’s own ‘Mysterious Girl’. Later on in the day the celebrities will then be provided with instruments and will be challenged to writing and performing an original song with the star himself. I’m not sure if I really want to hear Crissy Rock and Willie Carson force out a number, how about you?

Andre, 38, was a contestant on the show in 2004. The jungle holds some significant memories for the singer as it was there where he met his future, now ex-wife, Katie Price. Andre and Price left the jungle as an item and married one year later. They went on to have two children, Junior aged 6 and Princess Tiaamii aged 4. The two then separated in May 2009 and were officially divorced in September 2009. After a rough couple of years and exchanging abuse through the tabloids, the couple now claim that they are “trying to be friends”.

Starring in the 2004 series, Andre came 3rd with Jennie Bond in 2nd place with Kerry Katona taking the crown, winning and being declared Queen of the Jungle.

I’m pretty sure this will please a lot of people. Peter was widely popular during his time in the jungle and has since rebuilt a rather large fan base in the UK. Will you be watching to see Pete revisit the jungle? I know I will be! Leave us a comment and let us know.
