A couple needs planning permission for a Wendy House they built for their daughter
Council officials in Shropshire have told a couple that they must get planning permission for a Wendy House that was built for their daughter. The 7ft high wooden playhouse was built as a birthday present for three year old Abigail Gent.
She has been playing in it almost everyday for three months with no objections from the neighbors. Unfortunately, a council official saw the 6ft x 8ft playhouse which was in a paddock next to Abigails home and informed her parents that it had to be moved into their garden and then apply for retrospective planning permission.
Approval was finally granted after six weeks of red tape, leaving Abigails father thinking that the world had gone mad.
