Destroyed. Ruined. Changed, are just a few words repeating in my mind at this current time. I am sure I am not the only one when I use such strong language, as well as I feel I am not the only one who feels disappointed and disheartened at the fact that Habbo have disturbed their history! The public rooms are no longer present, they have been wiped with all the history that goes with it, only our many memories can be salvaged from the wreckage, and even then they are only a part of our mind, they aren’t reality and we will never relive them! Habbo have crossed the line this time, taking away one of the main things that made Habbo, well Habbo! I can safely say Habbo without public rooms is well not Habbo, it’s true. Habbo have changed and I doubt its for the better!

Habbo think they know what’s best for the community but they are wrong, not the first time I’m sure. They always tell us to be safe whilst playing Habbo, they tell us not to share our details with anyone or meet anyone, but for what? For them to create a competition that has the category of dating I know this isn’t the Habbo I first joined in 2008! They were stricter then, they cared about the safety of all the Habbo’s who played, dating wasn’t a major issue back then but now! Now they encourage it? I wouldn’t want my young child coming onto a site like that, why have a category of dating when they always go on about safety, it’s just plain stupid and idiotic!

The public rooms will never be forgotten, but they will also never be witnessed by the new Habbo’s who sign up daily, they will never have the old memories like I and thousands of others have had, I could even go as far to say I am ashamed with Habbo now. One thing though, I remember, the Hallway was an amazing place for people to hang out, make friends and even hold many Habbo competitions but now, nothing, this isn’t possible! What are Habbo staff going to do when the final room, the Den room has gone? Hold competitions in their rooms but surely they only have a maximum capacity of 50, that’s not fair on all the others who are trying to get into the room! I can’t see this idea being done for the current Habbos, if anything, it’s done for the younger, noobier generation and the older ones have been forgotten about!

Furthermore, Habbo want to make the new rooms popular and a hang out for all new people who decide to register, but as I said in the previous paragraph they have left the older generation to rot. The categories they asked for were appalling, dating and pets were just a couple of rooms, more categories could have been better, some that actually bring joy to people. Like mazes, games where people can work together and have a laugh and not just look at the financial side of it. Now that the older generation may no longer purchase credits or use real life money for things for Habbo they want the younger generation to. Now I know they are a business and they need to update the hotel but removing the public rooms are not a way to do so.
