Five Tips on How to Deal With Bad Days1
By - Posted 10th August, 2017 at 11:35 am The Real World

We’ve all had bad days and the last thing you want to do is let it ruin the whole of your day, so here are my 5 tips on how to deal with bad days, turning them into good days!

5: MUSIC.
Music is great for fixing any bad day you might have! Throw on your favourite track, band, or playlist and dance away the blues. You’ll have forgotten all about your bad day – or it’ll cheer you up enough to deal with it better.

4: TAKE A WALK.
Whether it’s to the park, walking your dog, to the corner shop, or just a wander around with some friends. It’ll give you some time to think and clear your head, hopefully banishing the bad day!

3: MOVIES / TV SHOWS.
Just the same as throwing on a good track helps, putting on your favourite movie or TV show will help too. A good laugh at a comedy, or losing yourself in a soppy romance is always a great way to cheer up when your day has gotten you down.

2: SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS.
Quality time with those close to you is always lovely, especially if it means you can rant about how your day has gone or anything that’s getting you down. You can even just enjoy having a good chat over a cup of tea or glass of wine!

1: WRITE ABOUT IT.
The worst thing to do when you’re having a bad day or feeling a bit down is to keep it to yourself, so write it down! It could be in your journal or over your favourite social media site, just getting it out there into the world can help take the load off and make you feel better.

We hope you don’t need to use these tips too often, but when you do feel down in the dumps, try these out!
