You’d better get wrapped up and buy some waterproof/windproof clothes, as extreme and strong weather approaches the UK!
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rains in Southern Scotland, Northern England, and North-West Wales from 10am on Wednesday until 9am on Thursday. The Met Office also issued another yellow weather warning as strong winds are forecast until 7am on Thursday in most areas of England. Sadly some community members faced disruption to their day to day life as some rail services were cancelled due to landslides and extreme rain!
This bad weather is likely to continue, so if you are situated in any of these areas, on behalf of Habbox we ask that you take extra care while going about your day to day life. For example: wrap up warm, wear waterproof and windproof clothes, maybe wear a hat, scarf and gloves and please don’t get blown away as none of us would like that.
This could be very serious as this could cause extreme flooding on roads, on paths, and near houses. Therefore this may cause roads and paths to be out of use and this may even restrict members of the community from coming out of their houses as they may be stuck in there. Most of us are unlikely to be inconvenienced to this level but we urge you to be aware of the possibility.
