Reality Review: Carmen on Simon0
By - Posted 4th July, 2015 at 9:33 pm

Well, as always a busy week in the world of reality. We have had quite a bit to talk about, so let’s get down to business. First of all over in the UK it’s been slightly quieter apart from some Britain’s Got Talent signing Carmen Electra to be a temporary judge whilst Amanda Holden was recovering from her recent complicated pregnancy. A former Baywatch star, Carmen was flown over from the US by King Cowell only to be greeted by boos from the rowdy London crowd, which was taking no American import light heartedly. She was seen to be booed even in the studio with the crowd chanting that they want Amanda back. Although luckily for her, Simon seemed to be all over her and they acted as if they were a newly wedded couple, fondling with each other and having a tease as well. It seems to me that she was only flown over to satisfy King Cowell’s sexual desires. Although Amanda did return on Saturday for the Edinburgh auditions looking sparkly indeed! Furthermore, Simon Cowell recently confirmed that The Voice UK will be at war with the Britain’s Got Talent. I wonder whether his royal highness will be throwing his tight fitting t-shirts as part of this war.

Over in the US, there is slightly more to talk about. The American Idol auditions have been going into Hollywood week and ratings have finally been stabilizing at around 18 million. The Voice premiered after the Super Bowl and ranked up over 30 million viewers- a figure that made American Idol producers wet themselves. However American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe called the competition too “gimmicky”. Survivor is coming back to our TV screens too with ‘Survivor: One World’ set to premiere later this month. However, it is baffling why the producers are using the exact same location of Upolu, Samoa four times. Gone are the days when Survivor would actually move to new and exotic places. The Grammy’s are back this weekend and our reality sweetheart Kelly Clarkson is nominated for a few categories. However, this year’s show will be overshadowed by the recent death of singing sensation Whitney Houston who passed away yesterday at the mere age of 48. King Cowell was also interviewed this week by his ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour and he stated that he actually was considering Whitney and Katy Perry for his X Factor USA show, at the same time denying that Elton John and Mariah Carey will be part of the panel.

Anyway, that has been your wrap on all this reality. Next week we will be talking about Satan himself, Gordon Ramsey and his return with a new series of Masterchef. For now, you can leave a comment below!
