Hotel Managers and Homepages, both very classic features of Habbo are set to be making a comeback…

Paul Lafontaine, CEO of Sulake, answered some tweets regarding both old and new elements of the hotel, and hinted at the long-awaited reappearance of Hotel Managers (and the user Homepage, but that has been less mentioned).

In the past, users such as Lost_Witness, Puffin and Kitano were in charge of keeping the hotels running smoothly, but this system was abolished to favour anonymous moderators relentlessly answering help requests. Many people disliked the anti-community sentiment this imposed, whereas others preferred the feeling of equality they achieved from this.

Users could also spend credits on flashy badges, letters and symbols to display on their Habbo Homepage. Notes could be written, dedicated to friends or simply to let others know about them. These canvases for the soul were also removed as Habbo felt they weren’t needed enough because of the price of items.

However, Paul’s messages show that we should be seeing a restoration of both these attributes in the near future: “Many have asked when for returned features. I will let Community Managers announce and discuss with their Habbos. #Habbo“.
