The lovely Lily Allen marries Sam Cooper

Pop star Lily Allen married her partner Sam Cooper today, in a country church wedding. Looking radiant, the twenty six year old was walked into St James the Great church in Cranham, Gloucestershire, by her father, musician and actor Keith Allen. The singer wore a full veil which was embellished with flowers, but did not cover her face, clearly showing her happy face to well wishers.

The bride carried a bouquet of white roses and was cheered by a crowd that had gathered outside the church. Her dress was made by French designer Dephine Manivet and had long lacy sleeves, sweetheart neckline, a lace overlay and a long train. One of the bridesmaids was T4 presenter Miquita Oliver, who is a childhood friend.

There were fewer than one hundred guests at the wedding, including comedians Angus Deayton and Harry Enfield. A large number of photographers were taking pictures of arriving guests and there was tight security present. Three bridle ways, five footpaths and two roads were closed and the couple had paid for extra police to be present. The sun shone on the couples big day after fears that it would rain. It is thought that the newlyweds are giving a reception in the garden of their nearby home.
