Snowstorm has returned to Habbo just in time for Christmas and it looks to be very much the same as the version that was left behind!

What? Is it Christmas already? Habbo have delivered us the best present yet with the re-introduction of its classic Snowstorm game. Ever since Snowstorm left our screens many months ago, there have been countless requests for it to return. Snowstorm was a very popular game on the client, which along with ‘Battleball’ was played by many. It involved you going up against other groups of Habbo characters in the ultimate snowball fight!

There is a brand new ‘Games’ tab on the Habbo side bar, which leads you straight into the Snowstorm interface. The interface itself looks slightly different from the previous version, however the characteristics of the game are very much the same. Previously, Habbo had said that the return of such interface would be difficult due to coding difficulties, however it seems they have overcome these issues.

It’s red vs blue as two teams battle it out to be the ultimate Snowstorm team. You can earn ‘Stars’ which are basically like levelling up as you progress during the game, and stats for ‘Hits’ and ‘K.O’s’ are also displayed on the points table. Once pressing the games button you are automatically sorted into a team and then the game begins! After the match there is a countdown timer leading on to a re-match!

I have to say I am really excited about the return of this classic game, and I’m sure many of the older players will be too! It’s a classic part of Habbo and it’s always nice when things like this are retained or brought back. Make sure you log into Habbo and check this out for yourselves!
