The much speculated Tortoise in soon to be arriving in Habbo as images have been found confirming this, this afternoon!

It was thought that a new pet would arrive in Habbo last Friday, but to many peoples disappointment, it didn’t. So we now look forward to the release of the tortoise along with other tortoise related goodies and of course, 2 new badges! Assuming these badges are for purchasing the pet within it’s first week of release… There is a green turtle badge and a black turtle badge along with the tortoise nest and some prawn pet food.

There have been lots of comments regarding how Habbo have been releasing too many pets recently, after the big urge for them to do so and how they are   “releasing too many non-home type pets” such as the rhino for example. However, the tortoise is available as a pet for the house so unless someone disagrees with that, there isn’t too much to complain about. I personally think the more pets the better, it gives a good variety of pets for everyone to choose from and if you don’t like any the the pets, you simply don’t have to buy them!
